Why I Built SensoryQuest

As someone who cares for a young man with autism and is closely connected to the neurodivergent community, one of the biggest questions I face is, “What should we do today?”

I hear the same question from parents, grandparents, caregivers, sitters and direct support professionals. Finding somewhere enjoyable is only part of the challenge. We also need to know what to expect when we arrive—whether a location may be noisy, crowded or brightly lit, and whether it offers quiet spaces, accessible restrooms or other helpful accommodations.

This is a real, everyday challenge for our community. I created SensoryQuest to make planning an outing simpler, reduce some of the uncertainty and help people find places that feel right.

My intention is simple: to make your day-to-day a bit easier.
