Privacy Policy

SensoryQuest collects only the information needed to provide saved places, review community contributions, maintain accurate listings, and respond to support requests.

Information you choose to provide

This may include your email address, visitor tips, listing corrections, business-owner requests, photo captions, and photographs you submit. Contributions remain pending until reviewed. Please do not submit private medical details or identifying information about children.

Location information

If you choose “Use current location,” your device provides an approximate position so nearby places can be calculated. SensoryQuest does not save that position to your account. You can instead search with a ZIP code.

Account and saved places

Signing in is optional. When signed in, SensoryQuest stores your email address with synchronized favorites and contributions. Device-only preferences may be kept in local storage.

Service providers and external links

SensoryQuest uses hosting, authentication, storage, and mapping services to operate. Directions, business websites, map content, and Venmo open third-party services governed by their own privacy policies. SensoryQuest does not store payment-card or Venmo transaction information.

Retention and moderation

Pending and published contributions are retained while useful for the directory or until removed. Content may be rejected or removed for safety, accuracy, privacy, copyright, or community-standard concerns.

Your choices

You may hide community tips, report content, request correction or removal of a listing, and delete signed-in SensoryQuest data from Menu → Account & data. Deletion removes synchronized favorites and associated contributions unless retention is legally required. It does not delete a separate ChatGPT account.
